'Tis the season I guess. My cousin tied the knot in Pakistan a couple of weeks ago. A friend of mine got married in Rochester over the weekend (which I actually attended). And another friend is getting engaged in February. So, I flew out to Rochester on Friday evening after a crazy day at work. Needless to say, it was extremely cold up there. My good friend Ikram was getting married on Saturday. The reception was in the evening, so in the morning I ended up going to Niagara Falls (more to come on that). The reception was fun, I met some interesting people and enjoyed some great food. After the party and leaving the bride and the groom at the hotel, a bunch of us people ended up going to a really cool coffee place in downtown Rochester, at midnight :) The place was called Spot Coffee. We had some great hot chocolate while it was snowing outside with dangerously low temperatures. I can never live in such a cold place for a long time, I just can't get used to it. And the only reason I'm surviving out here in Boston is that I know it's temporary and soon I'd be going somewhere where the winters aren't this harsh (Dubai maybe, wishful thinking). Rochester is a cool place, pretty big...
