Dubai -- the land of superlatives

The results are out and surveys have confirmed that Dubai is the most congested city in the Middle East. No wonder I felt I couldn't live in Dubai when I visited few weeks ago. It's one thing to visit and another to be living somewhere. Also, the studies concluded that Dubai has the worst car parking problems and the longest average commute times. Hopefully the Metro will alleviate some of the problems, to be opened in '09. Of course, Dubai has the tallest building in the world, the largest mall in the world, the biggest apartment complex in the world, the first artificial snow park in the desert, the most luxurious hotel in the world and more. Land of superlatives for sure!
