As annoyed as I was due to my flight cancellation and lost luggage, I still walked around the NorthWest terminal and I liked it a lot. There are a lot of stores, fast food restaurants which you'll find in every airport, but they have a sushi bar too. And one place exclusively serving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches which I love :) They have cashew butter as well, I highly recommend it.
You can enjoy free wireless at the terminal if you're sitting close enough to the NorthWest passengers club lounge, which if I remember correctly was around gate A18 ;)
