The way last week started out, we thought we were done with winter, temperatures reached 65 on wednesday, but we were reminded that the season is not over when on friday we had blizzard conditions and were dumped with 7 inches of snow. I had signed up for the 5K, didn't seem like it was gonna happen but it did, in sub-zero temperatures that is :( it was fun though, first mile is usually the hardest. 2700 people in all! It was all worth it when at the end we were welcomed with medals and Red Bull. The race was organized by the Irish community in the Boston area. One thing's for sure, they like to drink beer, even the medal has a little bottle opener in it lol...

marathon? that's awesome.. keep it up. you know who could use a good marathon? ms. lopez. and of course i'd be right behind her. hahahaha!
